Maine Summer

My grampa was born in Bluehill, on the coast of Maine, and lived there until he ran away from home at 14. My mom and dad took us back there on vacation every summer and we loved it- the ocean, the pine trees, the little houses, pies made from wild blueberries, all our great aunts and uncles and cousins! Made from vintage shell, wood, celluloid, plastic housedress buttons, one little brass anchor button , a very sweet fabric bow, and blue lapis and howlite beads (for the blueberries!) this bracelet takes me right back there.
