My Gramma Never Threw Anything Out

Both of my grammas lived through the depression. They were both thrifty and smart when it came to saving anything that might be useful. They were at the forefront of recycle, renew and re-use! This bracelet is a tribute to all the odd things I've seen around their houses- a pair of my great-grandfather's socks (pink and green!), old dishes, jelly jar glasses, house dresses that are 40 or 50 years old, perfume bottles with a tiny bit of scent left in them, empty egg cartons for starting seeds and those funny old hair dryers with the cap and the hose!

This bracelet was made from vintage glass, bone, shell, celluloid, fabric, plastic and metal buttons, embellished with ribbon and a sweet little buckle, sewn onto elastic with sturdy thread and a lot of love!

This bracelet comfortably fits my wrist, which is about 6 inches around. You want these to not be tight, because the band is elastic. if you would like something similar but need a bigger or smaller size please e-mail me!
