Russian Fairy Tale
My Mom got me a beautifully illustrated book of Russian fairy tales when I was a child. My favorite of all the stories was about Vassiiissa the Fair and Baba Yaga. She also read my brother and I an old children's book from the 1800's called "School Boy Days in Russia".The colors of these buttons, as well as the fancy carved wood along side the ornate glass buttons remind me of those beloved books. In true story book fashion this bracelet features magical birds, a man making a long and dangerous journey through an enchanted forest, and a parted couple reunited. You can make up your own fairy tale!
This bracelet was lovingly made out of vintage shell, glass, metal, plastic and a beautiful Julia Turner vintage necktie button (google Julia's Buttons to find her).
This bracelet comfortably fits my wrist, which is about 6 inches around. You want these to not be tight, because the band is elastic. If you would like something similar but need a bigger or smaller size please e-mail me!
