St. Agatha

Saint Agatha was an early Christian martyr. Her breasts were cut off by the Romans. In early icons she was shown holding a tray with her severed breasts on it, but people thought that they were loaves of bread(depicted here as a cupcake and the cinnamon roll-seashells)and so she became the patron saint of bakers . Saint Agatha is also the patron saint of nurses and is invoked against fire and diseases of the breast.
