St. Dominic De Guzman

When Saint Dominic's mom was pregnant with him she dreamed that her child was a white dog with a torch in it's mouth who set the world on fire. At her baby's baptism she saw a star shining from his chest. The dog became the symbol of the order he founded in 1215, the Dominican friars. Because of the star, he is known as the patron saint of astronomy. He is also known for working miracles, like raising people from the dead, and for being just about the sweetest and most patient guy ever.

I think of Saint Dominic when I think of all things heavenly, like the mysteries of the universe, angels, and (my favorites) space aliens and UFO's .
