St. Maria Goretti

St. Maria Goretti is the patron saint of girls. She is also the patron saint of rape survivors and victims of violent crimes. Maria Goretti was murdered during an attempted rape at the age of 12. This shrine was inspired by the Patty Griffin song "Be Careful", if you haven't heard it you should check it out.
