St. Christopher-Patron Saint of Travelers
gouache on paper 4.5" x 5"

Saint Christopher is the patron saint of travelers and motorists. I pray to him constantly while driving and I know for a fact he has saved my butt about a million times

The story of St. Christopher is that he had the job of ferrying people across a deep, wide river. One day he carried a child across when the current was strong and raging . The further they went the heavier the child became but St. Christopher did not drop him. He got him safely to the other side. The child revealed himself to be Jesus. He was so heavy because he was carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. St. Christopher was strong and capable and didn't give up and that is why he is your man when you are on the road!

Happy Travels!
