St. Dorothy is the patron saint of gardeners. She is traditionally shown holding a basket with three roses and three apples that came from the kingdom of heaven. She is shown here as a joyful young woman on a beautiful sunny morning surrounded by the abundance of her garden. I imagine her as an organic farmer, or part of a CSA co-op.
